Sarike van Wette is director Maintenance & Malfunctions at Alliander. Her message is that when we talk about the energy transition it is mostly about the innovations or technology. But that won’t get us where we need to be. We need new forms of cooperation to make the necessary changes. And this is precisely why we need more women in the field. We don’t just need more technicians, but people who connect the dots, who are in the field to motivate our society.
9:30 – 10:00
During Women in Energy we are going to discuss why we need more women in this field and what it takes to get involved. The opportunities and difficulties women face in a male-dominated world. At 36, Sarike is a great role model for every woman and especially our younger women and girls.
